Lifestyle editors and cultural writers dedicated to the art of evening.
Founder & Chief Evening Editor
Clara is a cultural writer and the visionary behind Slow Evenings Archive. Based in Edinburgh, she has spent the last seven years researching evening practices across cultures and eras. Her work has appeared in Kinfolk, Monocle, and The Gentlewoman. She believes that how we end our days determines how we live our lives.
When evening comes, you'll find Clara preparing tea, lighting candles, and journaling by her window overlooking the Firth of Forth.
Evening journaling rituals, cultural twilight practices, and the philosophy of rest as resistance.

Cultural Writer & Evening Researcher
Sophia is a Swedish cultural anthropologist who studies how different societies structure their evenings. She has lived in Japan, Morocco, and Norway, documenting evening traditions and bringing cross-cultural wisdom to our programs. Her writing explores how geography, climate, and culture shape our relationship with dusk.
Sophia currently resides in Copenhagen and walks along the harbor every evening, regardless of weather, as part of her twilight practice.

Wellness Editor & Evening Movement Specialist
Amara is a yoga instructor and somatic therapist who designs gentle movement practices for evening hours. She believes the body needs different movement at dusk than at dawn — softer, slower, more internal. Her programs focus on releasing physical tension accumulated during the day and preparing the nervous system for rest.
Based in Bristol, Amara practices restorative yoga and breathwork every evening as the sun sets, often by candlelight.
